Willoughby District Parking Structure Site Analysis

Sheinberg Associates, as part of a team including Northwind Architects and Tetratech, was hired by the City and Borough of Juneau to determine a feasible location and concept for a new 500 space parking structure in the Willoughby District of downtown. Four potential locations were analyzed to evaluate physical site characteristics, zoning, traffic impacts, community and urban goals, surrounding land uses and parking structure constraints.

Sheinberg Associates served as lead planner for this project and specific tasks included gathering site data, mapping walking routes, organizing information from relevant community plans and facilitating a meeting with project area landowners, City and Borough of Juneau department representatives and stakeholders.
